Pot / Net Haulers

Coastal Hydraulics is a manufacturer of pot/net haulers for inshore vessels. This innovative range of versatile pot/net haulers has given the firm a unique place in the market. The introduction of an interchangeable head for simple adaptation from potting to net hauling operations has radically improved the process.

The firm manufactures a large range of haulers to suit all sizes of vessels, offering five different sheaves sizes: 10 inch, 12 inch, 14 inch, 16 inch and 17 inch. These start with pulling power from 350 lb pull and range through to larger slave haulers up to 2.5 tonne. High torque motors are used and have large internal bearings to support good size loads.

The smallest hauler in the range is developed for boats of 16 to 18 foot. Made from corrosive-resistant aluminium with 10 inch rape sheaves the unit is light but very robust. It is free rotating on its pedestal and is supplied with a stainless steel motor mounted control valve, gunwale clamp and foot.

Replacement sheaves for these haulers, when required, are ex-stock and at very reasonable cost.

The smallest of the new range is the CHE 300. With a 10inch sheave and 350 - 600lb line pull it is ideal for vessels up to 6m in length.

The CHE 700 model is suitable for the 6 - 8m vessel size and is fitted with a 12inch sheave and capable of a line pull of half a tonne. Owners of vessels up to 10m will have the option of selecting the CHE 800 model which is fitted with 14 inch or 16 inch sheaves and has the capacity to haul up from 3/4 to 1.5 tonnes in weight. This unit is free rotating on its pedestal and is supplied with a stainless steel motor mounted control valve, gunwale clamp and foot. All of the CHE hauler range are made from marine grade aluminium with anti-corrosive durable parts throughout.
